PRIVACY POLICY
This is a translation. In case of discrepancy, the Portuguese version prevails.
This policy explains how Future Fields processes the personal data of people who visit the site and people who create an account. It follows Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who is responsible
Future Fields is a service of A Bello Consultoria e Projetos Ltda., trading as The Long Game, registered in Brazil under CNPJ 27.036.162/0001-36, with its registered office at Rua Belo Horizonte, 30, Porto do Carro, Cabo Frio/RJ, CEP 28923-480, Brazil ("The Long Game", "we"). We are the controller of your data.
For any privacy matter, including exercising your rights, write to founders@thelonggame.cc. This is the channel for contacting the person in charge of personal data processing.
2. What data we process
Account data. Name and email. If you sign in with Google, we also receive your Google account identifier and, when available, your profile picture. We never receive your Google password.
Profile data. Your field of work, if you choose to provide it. This field is optional.
Preferences. Interface language, consent to communications, and the territories for which you asked to be notified at launch.
Usage data. Pages visited, radars and forces opened, where the visit came from (for example, a link on social media), device type and browser. We use this data in aggregate to understand how the site is used.
Technical data. IP address and access logs, kept by our infrastructure providers for security purposes.
We do not process sensitive personal data (such as health, racial or ethnic origin, or political opinions), and we ask you not to include it in any field on the site.
3. Why we use the data and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis (LGPD / GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Create and maintain your account and give you access to the radars | Account, preferences | Performance of a contract (art. 7, V LGPD / art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) |
| Notify you of new territories and send communications from The Long Game and ORION | Name, email, profile, preferences | Consent (art. 7, I LGPD / art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time |
| Understand how the site is used and improve the service | Usage data, in aggregate | Legitimate interest (art. 7, IX LGPD / art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) |
| Protect the site against abuse and failures | Technical data | Legitimate interest (art. 7, IX LGPD / art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) |
| Comply with legal obligations | The data required in each case | Legal obligation (art. 7, II LGPD / art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) |
Creating an account does not mean you will receive communications. Consent to communications is requested separately, through an option that is unticked by default.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use your data for automated decisions with legal effects on you.
4. Who we share data with
We use providers that process data on our behalf, under contract and only according to our instructions:
| Provider | Role | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Authentication and database | Ireland (EU), region eu-west-1 |
| Lovable | Website hosting | According to the provider's infrastructure |
| Sign-in with a Google account (only if you choose this option) | United States and other countries | |
| Intuit Mailchimp | Email delivery, only for people who consented | United States |
We may also disclose data when required by law or by a competent authority. If we start using a usage analytics tool, it will be added to this table before it is activated.
5. International transfers
Some providers process data outside Brazil and the European Economic Area. In those cases, transfers rely on mechanisms recognised by the applicable law, such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions. You can ask for more information at founders@thelonggame.cc.
6. How long we keep data
- Account: while it remains active. Accounts not accessed for 24 months may be deleted, with prior notice by email.
- Consent to communications: until you withdraw it. We keep the record of consent and withdrawal for as long as needed to show that we complied with the law.
- Usage data: in aggregate or anonymised form, for up to 26 months.
- Technical logs: for the period set by our infrastructure providers, generally up to 90 days.
When you delete your account, the associated data is deleted within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep.
7. Your rights
At any time, you can:
- confirm whether we process your data and receive a copy of it;
- correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
- request the anonymisation, blocking or deletion of data that is unnecessary or processed unlawfully;
- request the deletion of data processed on the basis of your consent;
- object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- receive your data in a structured format (portability);
- know who we share your data with and the consequences of not giving consent;
- withdraw your consent to communications, without affecting what was done before.
To withdraw consent, use the unsubscribe link in any email or the preferences in your account. For any other request, write to founders@thelonggame.cc. We reply within 15 days.
You may also lodge a complaint with Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) or with the data protection authority of your country of residence in the European Union (in Portugal, the CNPD).
8. Cookies and local storage
We use your browser's local storage only to keep your session and your language preference. This is necessary for the site to work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If this changes, this policy will be updated and your consent will be requested beforehand.
9. Security
We adopt appropriate technical and administrative measures to protect data, including encrypted connections, role-based access control and logging of administrative actions. No system is entirely immune to failure; if an incident may pose a relevant risk to you, we will notify you and the competent authority, as required by law.
10. Minimum age
Future Fields is intended for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly create accounts for minors. If we learn that this has happened, we will delete the account.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the version in force. If a change is significant, we will notify you by email or on the site before it takes effect.
